Our first frame.

My construction foreman came up with this design on the fly. He couldn't find corners so he had to use Tees and Elbows. So he came up with this design. It kinda looks like to me like the Star Wars AT-ATs??? the little two legged machines.
I told him I wanted more stablity. We thought we could get corners at a cheap price but the fittings would make each frame cost about 16 bucks just for the fittings.. And that would put our cost in over 350 bucks.. So we use the less costing fitting and each frame will cost around $3.69 pricey but still doable. Wish us luck.. Our current design would use 1/2" pipes with 8 elbows and 6 Tees. IF you can thing of a better design don't hesitate to leave us a note.

HEy there gang,

I just went to home Depot and got the 1/2 pipe and fitting. All is bought. It will be enough to make 21 frames.. plus one we already have. So we will have 22. That should be enough for the first time and see how it goes..
The next thing is the sheets. I was able to get 10 at the flea market for 7 bucks. The thing we need to do with them first is wash all of them and then dye them. That should be alot of fun. I have never dyed fabric in my life. Soo we will see how it goes. after that we will see how to attach the material to the frames.
Also I was able to buy 20 T-shirts for this years Aliens T-Design. If anybody has a design or picture to use.. Please respond and tell us your two cents.
So things are looking pretty good.

Saul
